In 1996 Deputy Chief Holly Lamb graduated from the Allegheny County Police Academy and began her career with the University of Pittsburgh Police Department. Holly worked as a patrol officer and a member of the bicycle patrol unit before being promoted to Sergeant in 2000. She then served as Detective Sergeant in the investigations unit. In 2008 Holly accepted a promotion to Lieutenant and was subsequently elevated to Administrative Lieutenant. In January of 2014, Deputy Chief Lamb was promoted to her current rank. In addition to assisting the Chief of Police in command of the Police Department, she is also responsible for the department’s new expansion of providing police services in many UPMC Hospitals.
Deputy Chief Lamb graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Ohio Dominican University and was also a member of the women's basketball team.
